With the right strategies, you can achieve anything!
Have you ever heard the saying; “you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink!” The suggestion here is that ‘people are just going to do what they are going to do’ and that they cannot be influenced. This is 100% untrue, yet is it believed by the massive majority of people.
You see, if you lead a horse to water AFTER you have taken it for a nice long ride on a warm summer’s day, that horse will willingly drink water - lots and lots of water! Equally, if you take a horse to water just after you have fed it a really salty snack, the horse will happily drink gallons of water every time. It’s just a matter of strategy!
By using the right strategy, you can influence your clients, contacts and potential clients whenever you wish! If you are NOT influencing people effectively, it just means you need to use a more effective strategy. It really is that simple. Just use ideas that have already been proven to work.
Successful people are very good at finding effective strategies. They know how to encourage others to; help them, invest in them, buy from them and recommend them etc. As they say; “Success leaves clues!” You don’t need to CREATE an effective strategy for every situation you find yourself in. You simply need to FIND an effective strategy!
Albert Einstein once said; “insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results!” If your current strategies are not giving you the results you need, STOP using them and replace them with effective strategies!
How?
It’s easy! No matter what you need to achieve in your life, career or business, someone else has already successfully achieved it. Isn’t that wonderful? For example, if you want to make more money in your particular industry or profession, find out what the top people in that profession do - and then DO IT. Visit their web sites, research their businesses, read their biographies, read their blogs - but find out what worked for them and then repeat it!
