The power of ideas!

At any point in your life, you are never more than one good idea away from achieving anything you want!  That’s the power of ideas - (and the reason I have put this blog together.)  I want to provide you with the best marketing, business, productivity and technology ideas on the planet.

More information is being added to this blog all the time, so make sure to bookmark The Ideas Blog and tell your friends to pop by!

I would also like to thank the blogging legend Robert Scobel for his advice to me via Twitter, over the past week or two!

  1. Jim.
I have been reading your stuff for years and always found extremely useful. This is a wonderful idea and i look forward to learning more from you.

  2. Hi Jim,
I always get a boost of enthusiasm reading your newsletters and web articles and this sounds like a great idea to get some oxygen to some good ideas.

  3. Jim,
I can’t think of anyone better to launch an ideas blog! You have given me so many useful ones through your newsletters and coaching.
I like the simplicity of the site and the ease of adding posts. The colours are good. Green is the colour of nature and symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility; sounds good for a blog on ideas!Orange is associated with creativity, stimulation and success so good news all round in colours department!

  4. Thank you for all the feedback and comments.

Steve - I know things are really busy for you over in India, thanks for taking time out to get in touch.

Gary - There’s going to be lots more ‘oxygen’ over the coming days/weeks months.

Jane - I’m glad you have found it easy to post comments, that’s what blogs are all about. Websites are often a pretty much a one-way street - but blogs are all about two-way communication. Thanks for the colour information, really interesting.

  5. I really like your new blog as well. It’s clean and crisp and well-suited to its purpose.

Had to comment though on your statement about “At any point in your life, you are never more than one good idea away from achieving anything you want!”. For the last 10 years as my husband and I struggled to make a go of one of our other businesses, we have always been able to keep going because we told ourselves, and everyone else, that we were only one conversation away from making the business work beyond our wildest dreams.

When I read your opening statement, there was a thunderclap of awareness that that conversation doesn’t have to be verbal or even in person! Might just even be on this site!

    Keep up the good work!

  6. Hello DeBorah,

    Thank you for the feedback.

As a marketing professional, I am always looking for new ideas; new ways to get great results. In fact, I actually put time aside every week where I can focus on developing new ideas (like this blog.)

My hope is that this place will act as a catalyst for people to find the answers they need, in order to make their lives and their businesses more successful, less stressful and more fun.

Thanks again for the comments DeBorah.

What a great idea this is. I have read and used some ideas in your newsletters over the years and look forward to putting into practice some more in the future.

It’s also great to see your picture on your website - a face to a name. Keep up the fantacstic work and thanks for the tips.

  8. Nick,

Thank you for your kind comments!

I’m really enjoying being able to interact with so many of my readers; many of whom I have not previously heard from. That’s why I think a blog is the ideal way to support both jimconnolly.com and my newsletter.

Keep reading Nick and keep in touch!
